Operation Recovery

Our night in the Tetons was probably the most exciting yet.  After getting settled in the tent cabins the girls ate some food...and dropped some for which I promptly yelled at them for because. ..BEARS.  Well, that back fired because Anya woke up in the middle of the night screaming and would not stop for over an hour.

When the girls awoke for good at 630 in themorning we were more than ready to hit the road.  We drove through Yellowstone hitting up the main highlights, old faithful,  the grand canyon of Yellowstone, and saw our first Buffalo of the trip.

At 430 we made it to Chico Hot Springs where the grandparents and Vollmer family were gathered for my cousin Emily's wedding.

The weekend has been filled with reconnecting with family and meeting newly acquired family members.  Also, Montana is amazing and we are thinking a Vollmer commune might not be a bad idea.  Anya has also totally taken to my Uncle Art and Aunt Julie and stolen the hearts of many others.   Elia. ..she's still crazy and very much a grandpa's girl.

It's also been nice being in one spot for three nights.  Tomorrow we head out to check out Bozeman and Missoula and visit the Courtney's!
